In Sacramento, a plug or patch repair usually takes under half an hour without an appointment, while a full set of tires with alignment is best booked ahead. Compare the out-the-door price across shops in California, since installation fees vary more than the tires themselves. Keep the receipt: the tire warranty and any road-hazard coverage are tied to it. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop handles truck or trailer tires, and its Google rating before you drive over on a spare.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (916) 539-3057. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had a great experience at the shop, the owner was very friendly and did great work on the vehicle. Bought a replacement tire for a very reasonable price. Thank you!

I had a great experience at Richard’s Tires. I originally went in because I had one bad tire that needed to be replaced ASAP. Another tire shop didn’t have my tire size in stock and told me it would need to be special ordered, which seems to be common with my vehicle. When I got to Richard’s Tires, they took the time to inspect everything and showed me exactly where the damage and wear were on my tires. It turned out all four tires needed to be replaced. What impressed me most was that they actually had all four tires I needed in stock. Both gentlemen were professional, helpful, and honest. They got all four tires replaced in about 45 minutes, and since I purchased all four, they gave me a discount as well. I went on a Sunday morning and was fortunate to get in and out quickly. The customer service was excellent, the work was efficient, and the pricing was fair. I’ve already referred someone to Richard’s Tires and would absolutely return again. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at this tire shop. I bought a new set of tires at a very reasonable price, and they also replaced my brakes and did an oil change during the same visit. The staff was friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly. The service was quick and efficient, and I felt well taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend this shop to others.
